The 2nd Asian Symposium on Nanobiotechnology
(December 1-2, 2016, Suzhou, China)
The 2nd Asian Symposium on Nanobiotechnology (ASNB 2016) will be held on December 1-2, 2016 in Suzhou, China.
Research on nanobiotechnology has attracted unprecedented attentions among nanoscientists and biological professionals. Although substantial efforts have been made, various areas remain terra incognita along with multifarious challenges ahead. This symposium is intended to provide a platform for rigorous discussion of cutting-edge science and avant-garde engineering hypotheses in the design, synthesis and fundamental research in nanotechnology and application in the areas of biology and medicine.
The invited speakers encompass an extremely diverse group of internationally renowned scientists working in the fields of nanotechnology, physical sciences, life sciences and medicine. The symposium will cover a broad range of topics including smart materials for drug delivery and cellular interactions, sensors and diagnostics, imaging techniques, as well as biological interactions. The invited talks and posters will focus upon possible translational aspects and clinical applications on the challenges and unmet problems in the field of nanobiotechnology.

Presentations and Preliminary Program:
Presentations will include keynote, oral and poster sessions. Keynote and oral presentations are for invited speakers only. Posters are for other participants.
Keynote lecture: 30 min: 25 min talk plus 5 min question
Oral presentation: 15 min: 12 min talk plus 3 min question
Poster: displayed during the conference period (there may be a 3 min short oral presentation)
Preliminary Program: The symposium will be held on DECEMBER 1-2, 2016 (Thu - Fri).
A detailed program will be available in due course (before Nov. 15).
Abstract Submission:
A symposium booklet will be published at the symposium. It will include: symposium program, abstracts and biographies (of presenters). For this purpose, please submit a one-page abstract to the Conference Secretariat before the 15th of November 2016. A submission should include an abstract and short biography (of its presenter). It should be prepared in a common file format, e.g. MS Word. As seen from the template attached, it should be single spaced typed in English using an A4 paper (Please see attached template).

Registration, accommodation and visa application:
Registration fee: 1000 RMB for a normal participant and 600 RBM for a student, paid on-site by cash or credit card.
